Hi Nanci and other "cousins"!
My sister Becky Striggow and I are also descendants of Ann Owsley and Thomas Garrett. The Poyntz line goes back and connects to a good friend of Thomas Wyatt, to whom he dedicated a book of poetry. I think it was Nicholas Poyntz but might have been another of them. Becky was the one who discovered this. We found it especially interesting because we descend from the Poyntzes on our mother's side and the Wyatts on our father's. One line goes back to Harry "Hotspur" Percy, of whom Shakespeare wrote in Henry IV. It really makes history and literature come alive, knowing your connection to it!
