A great site to check out is "Housley-Bedwell Genealogy Connection" at

Click on "surnames" and it takes you from there. You will find "Humphrey" and Woodvilles and many many others. I believe all their information is verified and documented. If I remember correctly, I believe they are members of "Owsley Historical Society" which has the Poyntz line documented and verified.

You are right, the Woodvilles are off the John Poyntz line. Nicholas' line ties in with the marriage of John Poyntz b. 8 Dec 1577 and Ann Sydenham b. abt 1577.

I checked with Owsley Historical Society to verify Newdigate Poyntz's lineage that goes through the Woodvilles:

Richard Woodville, 1st Earl Rivers
married: Jacquetta of Luxembourg

their son:
Sir Anthony Woodville
mistress: Gwenillian Stradling

their daughter:
Margaret Woodville
married: John Poyntz

their son:
William Poyntz
married: Elizabeth Newdigate

their son:
John Poyntz
married: Anne Sydenham

their son:
Newdigate Poyntz esquire
married 1st: Sarah Foxley (8 children)
2nd: Ann Forest (no children)
3rd: Mary Parkyns (children: William Poyntz
(Princess Diana's line)

For Humphry:

Humphry Poyntz b. 1436 d. 10 Oct 1487
Father: Nicholas Poyntz - b. abt 1412, Iron Action, England
Mother: Elizabeth Mill - b. abt 1415 d 1439, Iron Action, England
