Can anyone tell me a little bit about this British officer who served at Trafalgar and also on the Great Lakes during the War of 1812?
From late February 1814 to June of 1814 he was transfered from the 36 gun frigate AEOLUS of the Atlantic squandron based in Halifax to served as the Lt. Commander aboard HM Schooner NANCY, an 8 gun schooner on Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
Would like to know where he is from and if possible were he died after the War of 1812, possibly back in England somewhere?
Thank you.
