Have you contacted Ray Howard Praster ( concerning the Prasters? Also, see his Family Tree Maker User Home Page listed as "The Ray H. Praster Family".

My wife had a few Prasters show up in her research with, as yet, an undetermined tie-in. They are: Green B. Praster b. abt. 1850) and John Praster (b. abt. 1855, parents unknown. These showed up in the 1860 Census at Eastern Division, Walker County, Alabama in the John Reed (b. 1816) household.
