Hi Paul,

The information I have for Virginie is
B - Dec (12) 1835 - I don't have a location
D - Dec (18) 1910 - in Beloeil Quebec

She married Joseph-Antoine (born May 15 1833 Beloeil, Vercheres, Quebec) on Sept 12 1854 also in Beloeil.

Viginie was the daughter of Noel Guertin born Dec 25 1792 (which I gather explains his name) who married Marie Josephte or Josephine Brodeur Feb 10 1817 in Saint-Hilaire Quebec. She was born in 1796 in Saint-Hilaire and died in 1880 in Beloeil, Quebec. I have information on their parents as well if you are interested.

Joseph-Antoine was the son of Antoine Prefontaine b: 14 Jan 1781 in St-Antoine-de-Padou, Longueuil, Chambly, Québec and Adeleide Lambert b: May 19 1809 in Beloeil, Quebec they were married Feb 10 1827 (this was Antoine's second wife) she died Jan 5 1884 in Beloeil. I do not have a date for Antoine's death.

I have information on Joseph Antoine's lineage back to Denis Fournier who was born in 1627 in Beauvais, Picardie, France. It is my understanding that all or almost all Prefontaines in Canada descend from his son Antoine Fournier Préfontaine and his wife Marie Roncelay.

I hope this helps, contact me if you would like more information.
