Ohio & Michigan Prentices
Posted by: Hal Prentice (ID *****9392) Date: April 27, 2004 at 14:58:47

I am researching my family and the earliest direct ancestor I have found is J.J. Prentice (only initials known), my great grandfather) born in Ohio abt June 1862. He migrated to Michigan and resided in Kalkaska & Luce Cos. working in sawmills as did some of his children. J.J. married Lucy (surname unknown) abt. 1885. Children include Mistie (or Mirtie), George Edward, Hazel, Raymond, Roy Alfred, and Arthur. Any information about JJ, ancestors, etc. would be appreciated. Will share information.
