No obvious connection! Pity! However, the Prentices in Lanarkshire were probably all related (there are not a huge number listed in the IGI), so she may well be a "missing" daughter!
What have you discovered about "your" family around the late 1700s? Do you have any earlier info?
We could still manage to pinpoint your Agnes
