Elizabeth or Isabelle Prentice & Peter Veer, QC

I am trying to find more about my Irish and Scots ascendants.

At the beginning of the 19th century, an Elizabeth or Isabelle Prentice married Peter Veer, no idea where or when.
They had at least one daughter :
Elizabeth or Élisabeth Veer, who married my ggg-grandfather Patrick Allen, son of Arthur Allen & Marguerite Cavanaugh, in St. Anselme de Dorchester, Quebec on Jan 7, 1834.

Of course I would appreciate knowing more about my Prentice family and those linked to them, where they came from and when they arrived in Quebec.

I have very little else on either the Allens or the Cavanaughs.

So thanks for any incoming info.
