I am looking for any information about George H. Prentiss (born1846) and his daughter Marjorie L Prentiss (born 1883) who lived at 108 Pierpont Street Brooklyn, NY around the period 1904-1915. They often went to Bermuda during the winter months and must have been fairly well off prominent citizens of Brooklyn. My interest was piqued when I obtained several wonderful etchings by Vaughan Trowbridge, another Brooklyn boy, living in France, who dedicated them personally to Marjorie Prentiss. I know Vaughan Trowbridge through remarkable summer journals written by his best friend, Edward I. Horsman, Jr., son of the founder of Horsman Toys, and a wealthy prominent Brooklynite in his own right. What I know of the Prentiss family comes from the dedication on the etchings and immigrant information on the Ellis Island web site. The mystery continues! Thanks!
