Hello: I am Frederick Printiss, retired and living in Florida. I have traced my Printiss, Prentiss ancestory back to 1790 in upstate New York. You indicate Prattsburg which is on the west side of the finger lakes and I am around Lafayette which is on the East of the Lakes.
In this time era, there were few roads and much wilderness... I believe Erastus (B about 1790) and Joseph (B 1760) were in that area around 1800-1820. Erastus settled in Pittsfield Mass and Joseph lived later in Worthington Mass.
The only Prentice / Jackson connection I have seen is Thomas B1676 married Elizabeth Jackson of Newton 1687.
Do you have some info on Harriet Rebbecca that you can share? You indicate she was married in Ohio and I have a search going on in that area too. Thank you....
