Have papers from Daughters of American Revolution, "Robert Hogg", Robert was born Londonderry, Ireland 2/25/1732 and died in New boston, N.H. 1/23/1795 families connected is a Frances Murfett, Willard Bennett, James Bennett, married a Zelma Prentiss in 4/2/1855 in Ohio., was a Luther R. Prentiss born in Acworth, N.H. married Abigail P. McKinnie,
Luther R. Prentiss born 7/20/1803 was the child of John Hogg Prentiss born 1767 New Boston, NH died at Plainfield, Vt. 1842 married a Mary Brown. Family names from 1759 Abner Hogg,married Rosamah Ferson, James Hogg Prentiss (1760) married Jennet Morrison, Samuel Hogg Prentiss married Lydia Clark, Robert Hogg Huntley, married Elinor Clark, John Hogg Prentiss (1767) married Mary Brown, Mary (guess married again) Tobias Butler,
Betsey, Samuel Fisher, William Hogg Prentiss married Elizabeth Ferson, Nancy married a Thomas Patterson, Margaret a Joseph Cochran, a Sarah married a Stephen Ferson, marriage records came from Cuyahoga, County, History of Acworth, N.H. and History of New Boston,NH. Robert Hogg was a Patriot. Luther Prentiss was child of John Hogg Prentiss and he died in Plainfield, Vt. 1842 was married 1797-98 to Mary Brown, who also died in Plainfield, Vt.
