My files do not show a specific source, so it likely came from others conducting research on the PRESSGROVE family. It MIGHT have appeared in VOL I of `THE HISTORY OF ROVER AND THE 10TH DISTRICT' - I would have to review my copy of that book. Either way, it came from somedbody WITHIN the family. Likewise, the identity of Barnet's parents as George and Johanna (NICHOLAS) PRESSGROVE.

1830 USC Andrew 1111101-0112201
1830 USC George 01100001-110101

On 20 SEP 1849, George and Susannah sold land to Sam CLARK

On 22 SEP 1846, Anna, w/o Andrew conveyed her life estate interest in his property heirs, Jas, Nancy, Wm, Eliz, Anna Belle, Mary, and John, as witnessed by John RUSHING and Alexander LANDERS who owned adjacent land. At the 1850 USC, Anna lived with John PRESSGROVE & his wife, Mary B WHHELER).

I have more on Andrew's descendants, but nothing further on George or their ancestors.
