Colleen,

I have a Prest Family geneology done by a John Bottomly Prest of Staten Island in 1948. There IS a Jabez Prest listed on there -born 1833, died 1923 and at the bottom of the geneology it states that in 1948, living members of the Prest family resided in (among other places) Connecticut in Lebanon, NOrwalk, Norwichtown and Waterford. SO maybe the Jabez in my family tree is the one you mentioned... Please e-mail me if you think there's a connection and I'll share the information I have.

Good luck.

Judy Prest
