My great-great grandmother was Elizabeth Prest, who married George Lythe in 1837 in Terrington,North Yorks. Elizabeth's parents, William and Hannah ( nee Robson) lived very close to George and Elizabeth in Ganthorpe near Terrington. I am pretty sure I have traced William's line back to Pickhill with Roxby, possibly back to 1600, but this is just fromthe IGI so I need to research more. Please contact me if you are interested. I expect we are distantly ( very distantly ) related.
