Hi guys,

I'm also researching the Pridays in Gloucestershire about this time. My last confirmed relative is also a John Priday. In 1844 he witnessed the marriage of his son (also John Priday) to Elizabeth Hawkins.

The younger John was born in Taynton around 1823/1824 but there seem to be two possible John Priday's for me now and I'm not sure which one I'm related to. The most likely one in my opinion (due to the age of the younger John) would be the one born in Quedgeley in 1898 to William and Elizabeth Priday.

The other option would be your one, which I have as being born in 1782 and married to Sarah Fords.

Any help anyone can provide would be gratefully received. Either here or to pridays@hotmail.com

Thanks!
