dear mam, i can only go back to the slave records of alabama(1850) my great grandfather was listed as black&2 years old.
also being told where he was from got me there.james pride brought one son from a previous marriage with him a charlie pride(1893) my grandfather willie pride was born in (1895) in calvert texas. el nora tucker was his mothers name(willies) like i said james is the oldest that i can find at the moment. he may even use to me a mcdonald by a former owners name. this is what i heard anyway from my grandfather.
