Millwee Cemetery,Sevier County,Ark

I went to the Millwee Cemetery in Sevier County Arkanas today to bring flowers for my ggg grandmother Elizabeth Houston,Millwee,Pride. I had visited her marker there many times before. Much to my supprise the large (about 5 ft in diameter or more) Oak Tree had been cut down. Elizabeths daugher Nancy Anderson Pide was the first to be buried under the Oak Tree which was on the Millwee Farm. They donated the land for a cemetery. However I must tell you that there is no longer a marker there for Nancy Anderson Pride, and there is not the markers placed there for her sister (my gg grandmother)Elizabeth Caroline Pride,Jackson,Park. I thought this was important to tell the Pride family since Nancy Anderson Pride was the first buried in that cemetery. The marker for my ggg grandmother Elizabeth Houston,Millwee,Pride is still there and in good shape. Faye Brown, Little River county Arkansas.
