Would love to hear from other researchers looking into connections between the Wolsey B. Pride/Mahala Dockins Pride descendants who married Strattons. At least three of the daughters of Wolsey and Mahala are known to have married Strattons in either Obion Co TN or Bollinger Co MO or adjacent MO counties. Nancy Pride Stratton, 3rd oldest daughter of Wolsey and Mahala Pride is my GGG Grandmother. She married James D. Stratton. Other Pride-Stratton connections are Cecelia Leacy Pride/Uriah Stratton and Esther Pride/John Stratton. I also have a much more recent Stratton-Pride connection in that my Great Aunt, Willi Mae "Bill" Stratton, married Oscar J. Pride, Sr. sometime Bet. 1910 - 1920 probably in AR, but could have been MO, TX or TN. Anyone connected with any of these Strattons or Prides, please contact me. I have Stratton info, but only vague outline knowledge of Prides, with no detail. Will share what I have/know.
