From what I have found so far having viewed some transcriptions from Salem records. Edith’s maiden name is unknown and is not Parmequa.

Her son John Pride Jr. middle name is also unknown from what I have seen so far. It is not Parmequa, Pamaqua, or Permaquid.

What I have found is John Pride Sr. made investments in fishing excursions and that John Pride Jr. became a fisherman by trade and lived in a fishing village called Pemaquid now called Bristol ME.

I would also like to note that I did find a Native American by the name of Charles Pamequa whose name appears in the history of New York. I see no connection between Charles and Edith.
