Good Morning Heather:
In surfing through the net I saw your message and request for information on Sarah Elizabeth Primm.I am unsure if this is the same Sarah but there is one in my lineage which is as follows:
My Great Grandfather’s name was George Primm. He was a slave born in Alabama in 1830.After the Emancipation George moved to Arkansas where he met and married Mariah Hicks.Mariah Hicks was born in 1845 in Arkansas. Mariah’s mother was born in Arkansas and her father in Tennessee.
The 1870 Census shows George and Family in Dwelling #11 and family #11 in Fremont township, Ouachita County, in Camden, Arkansas.
Children born to the marriage of George and Mariah Hicks-Primm were as follows (in no particular order):
1. Elizabeth (aka Lizzie) Primm
2. Easter Primm
3. George Primm, Jr.
4. Clayton Primm
5. Aaron Primm
6. Henry Primm
7. Hampton Primm (My Grandfather)
8. Bessie L. Primm
9. Charlie Primm; and
10. Sarah Primm
There was and is little known about Sarah Primm because she was listed in the 1870 Census as a toddler around 3 years old but she was never listed in another census report. It is unknown what happened to her, whether she died or was possibly sent to live with other relatives.
It this provides any insight into the Sarah that you inquired about please let me know and I will investigate it further.
