Sarah Charles/Primmer was born as you say 4Oct 1840 at Fish River, near Hartley,NSW to Hannah Charles before she married John Primmer,a convict from England.Birth Certificate No is 7655.She married John Sunderland jnr on 18 Apr 1859 & died in 1875 at Hartley.John S died Dubbo 10 Oct 1908.He is buried in the old cemetery there. They had 7 children. Her father John Primmers mother was Elizabeth Langley & she & Wm primmer married in Portsmouth on 3 May 1795.Witnesses was R Langley.John Sunderland was son of John Sunderland & Martha Morse.I think he married a Frances"Fanny" Brooksbank in 1878 in Dubbo. She is buried just out of Dubbo in an old cemetery. The whole thing gets very confusing as they had a child Hannah who married her uncle George PRIMMER,s/o Hannah (Charles) & John Primmer.John Primmer(convict) was married in Catherington in Hampshire to a Frances Briole & they had 3 sons who were all left behind when he was transported. He married as a bachelor out here on 16 Sep1841 to Hannah Charles. He died at Mt York in 1857 & is buried in MT York cemetery.Hannah then married again to a John Sunderland.Jane Primmer, sister of Sarah also married a John Sunderland but he had a different set of parents.I have a lot of info on the Primmers as I am married to one.I hope this helps a bit & doesnt confse you too much.I will be away from Jun 10 for a month but can give you more info then if you need it & let me know what you want.best wishes.Lorraine Primmer
