Susan, This is Catherine of our family...there are also 2 more books written that I know of.."The Whitman Massacre of 1847" written by Catherine, Elizabeth & Matilda Sager, and another.."The Shallow Grave ata Waillatpu: The Sagers' West" by Erwin N. Thompson....Not sure that this are still available.
I know that her granddaughter, Celesta Platz, who lived inSeattle WA. had done extensive research re: the Pringles as well as Sager and it is my understanding that the Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wa. has her research, if you have not checked there.
I have not done any search on the Pringles as they were not direct blood line... Keep in touch...Mavis Hensley Sager
