Hello,
I noted your research on the Pringles in Southeast Scotland (East Lothian) from the early 1800s.I am wondering if you have come across one or more families of Pringle who emigrated to Canada in or about the 1820s.
A group of Pringles (I assume a family) arrrived in what is now SouthEast Quebec (Huntingdon County) approximately 1828: the names were David (b. 1795), William (b.1803), Janet (b. 1793), Marion (b.?), James (b.1812).There may also have been others (Robert, Alexander).
Any connections?
Regards,
Richard Pringle
