I just looked up your grandfather. He came over to an Uncle Mick McTague in New York.
Five years earlier my grandfather, Francis Hoey, came over to an Uncle John Tague in Rhode Island.
(I notice that often the American relatives drop the "Mc" or the "O"---For example, sometimes, on these
ship's manifests, an "O'Shea" comes over to a brother who is listed as a "Shea")
At any rate, John Prior came over to my grandfather's brother, James Hoey.
I have a feeling these Hoeys, Priors and McTagues of Ballinamore were all extended family.
