Longshot

I am one of probably five serious researchers of the Braly/Brawley descendents of William, John, Hugh and Thomas Braly of Rowan County North Carolina. These brothers arrived in America around 1750 from Ulster Ireland. We have pretty well documented and put all descending lines of these brothers together. Another brother James stayed in Pennsylvania and we are still working on him. Our biggest problem today is where these brothers descended from. The name Prior is a very common middle name of several of the descendents. My longshot would be a possibility that the mother (Agnes) of the five brothers may have had the surname of Prior. Does anyone doing research on the Priors have any knowledge of any Priors coming from Ulster Ireland? I would appreciate hearing from anyone on this.
