Thank you for your reply. I will bear this in mind as I search.

There may be a connection between the family at Thorley and Gt. Hallingbury. I understand the link could be with the land owners. I have just found out that the Streeter family owned land both in Thorley and Gt Hallingbury.

Although I have not researched this yet, I think the Priors were living on a farm owned by the Streeter family whilst in Thorley.(around 1901)
