Aaron Lindsey Prior was my grandmother's father. He was married twice. The first time to Myrtle Peden, her lineage is unknown. They had 3 children: Annie (who married a McGriff), Bob who married Icie Garrett (they lived & are buried in Campbellsville, TN, Giles Co., cemetary name unknown); Kate (also called Kittie). Kate was 3 yrs. old when Ethyl died shortly after giving birth to "Thomas", who also died. After Ethyl (Peden) Prior died, Aaron Lindsey remarried.
He married Ethyl McGriff. They had the following children: Wilbur (called W.L.), Willy, Clyde N., Eugene & H.M. (Henry Mark); Annie (who married a McGriff), Kate (also called Kittie, married William Hollis Williams), Helen (married a William "Bill" Scibner), Edith (married Irwin Scribner), Oneita (also called Anita, Aneita, we are not sure about the spelling of this name, she married Bill Peden) & Danese (married Joseph Marion "Jody" Brown).
IF anyone has any knowledge of the lineage of Aaron Lindsey Prior, I would appreciate it.
