Prior family of Hull (possibly Somerset before 1785?)

I have a John William Prior bp 1787 in Hull - parents John & Mary Prior. There was a Hull marriage in 1785 between John Prior & Mary Bull, this is very likely to be the right couple.

However, I cannot find any other baptisms for children of this couple in Hull. (Nor can I find an appropriate baptism in Hull for John Prior senior)

Which leads me to the conclusion that they either simply had no more children, or they lived elsewhere.

There is another marriage on the IGI between a John Prior & a Mary Bool (Bull??) on 9/5/1781 at Montacute, Somerset. The IGI also has a baptism for a daughter Ann on 29/7/1781)

Could the couple be from the Somerset area originally? Then moved on and eventualy arrived in Hull by 1785, where they re-married at the local church. (other children may have been born to them elsewhere between 1781 and 1785)
Is this all coincidence do you think?
Is anyone else researching Priors in Hull or Somerset, that this might ring bells with? John William bp 1787 was a "brushmaker" as was his son, this occupation may have been repeated from earlier Priors.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
