Ron, I have so much enjoyed your postings. This one and also the Margaret Helderman Posting.
Please let me make some corrections to your line as I'm sure someone has tried to do the best they could at putting together what they knew of 92. Jewel Jane Proffer.

Jewel Jane Proffer b. 14 Nov 1915 in Bloomfield, Stoddard Co., MO
d. 30 Jun 1987 in Hillsboro, Jefferson Co., MO.
Now she is buried in Sikeston, Scott Co., MO. She is next to her mother Sylvia Harrel
She is buried under the name of Jewel Henry.

Her first husband was Jess Dockins, they married bet. 1930 - 1934. Jess died c. 1935 and is buried in Carpenters Cemetery in McMullin, Stoddard Co., MO. To this marriage came

Virginia Mayfield Dockins b. 27 May 1934
Jesse Dockins b. 05 Dec 1935 d. 24 Nov 1997

Her second husband was William Elza Parker
b. 14 Jul 1918 in Flat Rock, Johnson Co., Ark
d. 22 Jan 2000 in Clarksville, Pope Co., Ark
To this marriage came

Delores Ann Parker b. 07 Nov 1941

Elza Ray Parker b. 25 Jun 1945

Billie Joe Parker b. 03 May 1951 in Ash Hill, MO.

As I have just began researching this family only a few days ago. I still do not have marriage dates for Jewel, but will be seeking them soon.

She went on to marry the following:
Elmer Ray Bet. 1958 -1960
George Drinkard c. 1964
Lee 'Rabbi' Gentry c. 1967
Jack Henry c. 1983 - 1984

I believe this is about all I can do for you. Other than I just came from Memorial Park Gardens there in Sikeston. Where Bill visited his mothers grave. And on the headstone there Sylvia died 28 Aug 1971. Her headstone states that she was born 28 Aug 1880. Where you list in your records 29 Aug 1880. As Bill remembered his grandmother dying on her birthday.

Please send me an email as I would love to find out more about this family. 00 = double zeros.

Thanks for the postings, much appreciated on my part the sharing of your hard work. Pattie =)
