Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

More Progin info.

My father's name was Richard Walter Progin. Born 3/6/1916, died 4/17/1975. He had brothers by the name of: Charles, Nelson, Arthur, George & Kenneth. Their parents were Charles Progin & Ann Smith. Ann died in 1928, Charles in the mid 60's. All were born in Fitchburg, MA.
Charles was married to Beatrice, Arthur to Etta (Murray) George to Jean, Richard to Rita (Kingsley) and Kenneth to Betty Ann. Nelson died before I was born of a ruptured sleen, stemming from a car accident but I think his wife's name might have been Leah.
George, Arthur, Richard and another partner started Union Products in Leominster MA , which was known for The Pink Florida Plastic Flamingos. When George died, he left the bulk of his fortune to charity. You can google more information on that.

I hope this info. is helpful.
I would also like to find out about other Progins, as I am the only child of Richard and a lot of our relatives are dead.
