Rouillard dit Prenouveau after 1715
Posted by: Tom Pronovost Date: December 11, 2001 at 08:22:17

Help! I'm stumped.
The info have starts with Mathieu Rouillard dit Prenouveau. He had 9 children, of which Simon and Mathieu took the surname Prenouveau. Rouillard was dropped in 1714 and Prenouveau was used. It was changed to Pronovost in 1735. I have nothing beyond them. It picks back up with George Pronovost (my great great grandfather)in the early 1800's. There should be at least 2 generations that will fill in my ancestry. This info was garnered from a narrative finished in 1954 by one of his grandchildren and from internet files.
`Can someone help me fill it in?
