Hi Francis!
The information I have on the Prothro family comes from my great Aunt Mabel, who researched back to Evan in order to join the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1948. It traces part of the lineage through Nathaniel.
Evan Prothro b. 1740 d. 1824
m. Elizabeth

m. Zilpah Morgan b. 1770 d. 1831

daughter Rachael Prothro b. 2-20-1798
d. 6-4-1871
m John Corbett 3rd b. 5-23-1784
d. 7-29-1848
Rachael was his 2nd wife
daughter Zilpah Corbett b. 4-15-1816
d. 7-26-1896
m. Rufus Cephas Salley b. 4-11-1815
d. 8-20-1895
married 5-10-1837
daughter Jane Rebecca Salley b. 10-8-1841
d. 4-16-1905
m Dr. Thomas Jefferson Pou b. 4-5-1825
d. 9-22-1903

daughter Zilpah Salley Pou b. 7-12-1861
d. 5-30-1915
m Joseph David McCormick b. 9-1859
d. 1-14-1932
married 2-5-1889 Orangeburg Co., SC
Zilpah was first married to Newton Sistrunk and had one son, Newton Sistrunk.
Zilpah and Joseph David McCormick had Mabel, Lillian, Elliott (my grandfather), Benjamin, Ethel, and Nellie.
Hope this helps a little.
