There was a Rosel Claudio Prouty living in Bexar County (san antonio couty seat) Texas in the 30s and later. It appears he was married to Erlinda Alva from at least 1933-1939. He may have been married to Elis Talamantes, sometime after 1939.
CLAUDIO ROMERO PROUTY, Bexar County, was married to Romanita Trevino. Some of their children included Annabelle, Delia, and Herdinda. He died 24 Dec 1989 in Bexar County.
ROSEL PROUTY, Bexar County, was married to Erlinda Alva, and had children named Fermin, and Herminia. Rosel Prouty(may be the same man) was also married in 1942, when dau Gloria Prouty was born, to Elis Talamantes.
RAMON PROUTY, Bexar and Atascosa Counties, was married to Maria Pena. They had children named Jessie, Jose, Ramon, and Richard. There were quite a few Prouty's living within Tarrant, McLennan and Jefferson counties, too. I did not find any living in El Paso.
There are still Prouty's living within Bexar County, and many appear to be from the above named families.
