Frederick David Prouty b. 24 Nov. 1829 Brattleboro, Windham Co., Vt. s/o Elijah and Elizabeth Plummer Prouty of Brattleboro. He was a dealer in farm implements. He married Harriet Casad (22 Jan. 1834-24 June 1909) on
28 July 1853. She died of uremic poisoning, or kidney failure. They had at least 2 children-Alice M. b.18 Nov. 1859, and Sarah W. b. 7 June 1862.They resided at Worthington, Ohio. Harriet was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This from Prouty Geneology, pg. 109.
