I am a great grandaughter of Lucien and Lucy Prouty. There were five other children born, Millard Filmore, 1854, Lucian Emmet 1856, Edwin S 1860, Lydia Elmira 1863 and Charles C 1866. My grandfather is Charles C. My cousin has the family bible with the names and birthdates and deaths. I also have pictures of both Lucy and Lucien. We also have a letter to Lucien written in 1863 and also some of his records when he lived in Nebraska and ran a store and also rode the circuit as a judge. I know most of the relatives stayed in the Midwest but my grandfather first moved to Colorado and later Oregon when he worked for the railroad. I remember my mother talking about visiting uncles and aunts in Chicago. Lucien is buried in Missouri, he died in 1902.
