Going through the Richardson County NE records, I haven't found any reference to Lucien being a circuit judge. When did he hold the position? I also am interested in his store records. What kind of store did he have? Did he run it along with his duties as postmaster? You mentioned that Lucien died in Missouri. Was he living in Eldorado Springs when he died? Any information would be appreciated, as I am planning to do a follow-up to an article on Lucien that appeared in the newsletter of the county historical society.
