Was the son of Preston and Matilda Pinkerton Schultz. In 1880 he was in the census of Paddock, Hill Co., Neb. He married Nellie Dora Hendricks 18 Ap 1905 in Atkinson, Neb. Children: Aurla Marion 19 Jan. 1906-14 Sept. 1908; Raymond Arthur b.19 Jan. 1909 m.24 Dec. 1934 Ruth Crowley. (Children -Lucy Jane 1939 and Kenneth Ray 1940);Clyde Hendricks 19 March 1911-21 Nov. 1975 m. Vernice Johnson July 1935-(children James Lee 1939 and Donna) Eugene Maxwell 13 Aug. 1913-20 Sept. 1917; John Joseph 4 Feb. 1917-16 Feb. 1917. Harry m.2 24 March 1919 in Butler, Mo. Lorena Evangeline Herrall b. 19 Apr 1898. Children-John 1924, Harry Edwin 1927, Rob Roy 1930, Nina Lorena 1936.
John Trumbo and Maryetta Schultz Prouty also adopted Angela Monroe-her parents were Solomon and Janette Monroe. Angela m. Eugene Sebring and had 11 children. John and Maryetta also adopted Lewis Helm b. May 1889. Maryetta Prouty's parents were Adam and Lucy Quartermas Schultz. Most of the family is buried in Union Cem., Spencer, Boyd Co., Nebraska. Angela is buried in Maple Lawn Cem., Quincy, Branch Co., Michigan.John Trumbo Prouty was s/o Barnabas and Rebecca Trumbo Prouty. For more info see Our Four Families by Evelyn Kreuger.
