Where did your grandmother and maternal aunt live and about what years are you talking about? The only Shultz that I have that is not present day, and related to the Proutys is Maryetta Schultz who married John Trumbo Prouty in 1867 in Wisc. and died in 1919 in Nebraska. The only time I have Prouty, Schultz and Helm in one family is in this one, as the couple adopted a Louis Helm b. 1889. The also adopted two children, an Angela Monroe b. 1878 and Harry Schultz b. 1878. These two actually took the Prouty name. Louis Helm was b. May 1889 in Neb. Harry's parents were Harry and Matilda Pinkerton Schultz, maybe they were related somehow to Maryetta. Harry is buried in Spencer, Boyd Co., Neb. Angela's parents wereSolomon and Jeanette Monroe. She had 11 children after she married Eugene Sebring. Harry's children were Aurla Marion, Raymond Arthur, Clyde Hendricks, Eugene Maxwell and John Joseph. If your family is from Neb., maybe this is pertinent.
