Linda, you think two Calvin Proutys from two different fathers both went to Canaan, VT and lived there c1860's? I don't think that is very likely. I have access to some MA vitals from the NEHGS website and I don't see any Calvin Prouty born in Scituate, MA, but there was a Caleb W. Prouty born there. Tell me what you know about the Calvin who was supposedly born in Scituate and I'll check into it.
