Hello Louise:
My father, Donald Henry Prouty "July 5, 1932- Dec 23 1992" lived common law with my mother, Roberta May Shaffer "May 13,1940" for 23 years. There is me, Kevin Lee Prouty May 19, 1965 , and my only other sibling, Gerald "Jerry" Roy Prouty March 2, 1963. My family Tree can be seen at http://trees.ancestry.ca/pt/pedigree.aspx?tid=4901285&pid=-1526094880&pg=2
Donald Prouty's siblings are Violet, Sid, Sadie, Roy, Mable, Helen, Hazel, Clinton(Porky),Carl, and Rella. They all originated in Dryden, Ontario. My mother's father was Wesley F Shaffer 1907-1979, and Mother Mary A Dixon 1918-2003 also from dryden and area. All I have for info on that side of the family is Wesley's mother's name, May Tizzard, and my mother's siblings- Alice, Charles Wesley, Edward Franklin, Marie, Sandra, Carol, and Mary. Please let me know if this opens things up and further. Thanks....Kevin Prouty PS. My brother and I as well as our mother live in South Western Ontario.
