Louise, thank you for the information. Where did you get the name Minnie Cartier as wife of Burr Henry Prouty? B.H. Prouty married Wilhelmine Bomke (Boumke on marr cert) in Belle Plaine, Shawano, Wisconsin on Jan 1, 1862. She was born 24 Apr 1842 in Germany, the daughter of Ferdinand and Wilhelmine Bomke (Boumke on cert.) He was the son of Amos and Bethsheba Prouty of Springfield (actually Springvale), Fond du Lac Co, Wisconsin. Marr Cert says he was born in New York.

Also "Bethsheba, wife of Amos Prouty died Nov 3,1880, aged 89 years" is on her tombstone in the Rosendale Cemetery, Found du lac Co, Wisconsin. "Amos Prouty died Nov 3, 1872 aged 78 YS,11MS,10DS" is on his tombstone also in the Rosendale Cemetery.

Luella Prouty's marriage to Dr. Littlepage was her second marriage. Her first marriage was to Cornelius (Neal) Knapp (10/4/1865-10/31/1887) on 29 Apr 1886 in Springvale, Fond du lac Co, Wi. They had one child, Jesse Horace Knapp (12/10/1886-08/24/1887)who only lived for 4 months.

Do you have any other information on Lenora Prouty? In 1898 when her mother died she was living in Wausau, Wisconsin. She is not in any marriage and/or death records in Wausau that I could find.

The reference to Phoebe is from some online history I found a few years ago. Unfortunately I can not locate it again and have not been able to find anything more on her. But then again I have not looked too hard since she is not a direct descendant, just throught marriage.

Again, thank you for the information.
