Do you know if the spelling changed in America? I'd be most interested in your research. My cousin and I are working on our
my 2great grandfather. Thornton Provens or
Provance. We think he was born 1801-1812 PA.
Can't find a place. If we are related, then
who was the first Provan to come to Pa from
Scotland? Were your folks originally from
France?
