Jane Provan, 1838, Banton, Kilsyth

I have a Jane Provan who married Thomas Collins Nov 23, 1860 in Kilsyth, Stirling. According to the 1881 census she was born about 1838 in Banton, Kilsyth.
On the IGI I found two Jean Provans (1)born 1835 in Banton to David and Christine and (2)born 1837 to Thomas and Christine Rankin in Kilsyth. The second is closer to the census age.
I have only just started on this line, so have no other information. I would appreciated hearing from anyone with information on either of the above Jean Provans or of course if you have a connection to the Jane Provan who married Thomas Collins. Thank you.
