You asked if I am sure about Thos B.No, I'm not.That's the reason I used the expression"may be/definitely".You also asked about the document of my info.The info comes from many sources:Wm's obit in the Huntsville Democrat, the Campbell co censuses, the Goodspeed book for Campbell co, the Madison co censuses, the Jefferson co m records, Claiborne co Tn tax and land records, and the generous help of 3 family members 2 of whom are now deceased.Yes, I took a look at the material that was available on the Yard Province family, and I even obtained a copy of Joseph's pension file, but I found nothing except a same last name.Your James H was a guess also but a safe one though . . . he's on the Campbell co census with Sampson, and the names of 3 of his children are Rachel, Wm, and Sampson.I would be glad to hear your comments on these matters.
