I agree that John W. Barnard is somehow located in the Love Barnard Provence family esp. with a son named Timothy Provence and a daughter named Lovie. The problem is determining who his father was. You suggested Barzillai , but I am not sure you could rule out either Gilbert or George . There is no info i can find on them at all.I dobelieve Timothy Barnard and love swain were the grandparents of John W. Barnard and that Love Barnard Province was his aunt.
