Jesse and John William Province
Posted by: JP MORGAN (ID *****1483) Date: April 28, 2012 at 18:39:40

I am so close to being accepted into the SAR, but I have to prove that Jesse Province was the father of John William Province. Jesse was the son of Joseph Yard Province, who served in the Revolutionary War. If you have an obit, probate or will, pics, ANYTHING that can help me prove the father/son relationship I would be very grateful:

Jesse Province - father
Birth 29 SEPT 1802 in Masontown, Fayette, PA, USA
Death 03 APR 1873 in Belvue, Pottawatomie, KS, Polly Creek Cem.

John William Province - son
Birth 19 SEPT 1823 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA
Death 23 NOV 1911 in Chelan, WA, Chelan Wash. Cem.

Jesse is my 3rd great-grandfather and John my 2nd great-grandfather.

Thank you for your time and help in this matter.

Sincerely,
JP Morgan
