Ollie, I hope you and your family are doing well. I was sick last year, but am better now.

The Shirley family of Caroline was suppoed to have moved to KY in 1799 according to a Shirley descendant.

I have been mostly working on DNA on the Pruett DNA Project on

We have found through DNA that there were 8 differnt Pruett families in Va before they moved to other States. The Caroline Pruetts basically didn't leave and stayed in the county.

I still wonder if the Pruetts are French since so many of the Caroline families are French like the Seals, Chenaults, and Beasleys, etc. There was a fourth Huguenot ship that sailed up the Mattaponi River to Caroline in 1700-1701, but the records have been lost.

The list of official Huguenot names from Manakintown is interesting because I seem to keep coming across them.
