Hi Philip:

The only "Lucie Prunier" I have in my files that would come close to the individual you describe is (according to the LDS IGI):

Lucie Prunier, b c1808 Chazy, Clinton, NY
m c1824 Coopersville, Clinton, NY
Jean Baptiste Leonard, b c1802 Chazy, Clinton, NY

children (all b Chazy): Sophia (b c1834), John (b c1836), Mitchell (b c1838), Edward (b c1842), Catherine (b c1846).

I found this couple w/these children in the 1850 USC for Chazy, Clinton, NY (M432, Roll 490, p 337a):

1226/1307 Battise Leonard 48 M farmer $40 Canada
Lucy " 42 F Canada
Sophia " 16 F NY
John " 14 M NY
Mitchel " 12 M NY
Edward " 8 M NY
Catherine " 4 F NY

I was not able to locate the family in the 1870 USC for NY and have not been able to get out to access an index for 1860.

I have no record in my files of a Baptist Almaw aka Jean Baptiste Lesneur or his son Louis.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help to you; however, should you locate the individuals you seek, please do let me know and I'll be sure to add them to the Prunier database.

Best regards,

Arlene L. Brown Ackermann
