I am also looking for information on a John C. Puett from western N. C. who married Mary Froneberger in Lincoln Co., N. C. in 1880. He was the son of a Rev. J. W. Puett. I have no dates for their children but they were reported to be: Carrie, John, Bessie, Hettie, Corrine, Anne, Artie and Juanita. I have been unable to find them on the 1900 Census for N. C. but did find a marriage for a Juanita Puett in Virginia who married a Rev. Jones. It sounded as John C. might be from this family so thought I would take a chance and ask. If any of this rings a bell, I would love to hear from you. Thanks!
