I would love to trade some information with you.
Joseph Puett, Sr is my ancestor. What I have found so far is the following:
The Puetts are of Dutch descent comming from the Netherlands to New England and on to NC by the way of Ohio Territory.
Joseph Puett, Sr Burke Co, NC probably born ca 1750
Children - Capt. William Puett, Joseph Puett Jr, and a daughter who married Elijah S. Moore.
I have more for Capt. William Puetts if anyone wants it.
Capt. William Puett (ca 1775 -1780) was probably born in Ohio Territory.
